Dialyn: Customer Service Rep Who Stuns First, Files Complaints Later

Dialyn's Zenless Zone Zero build stacks CRIT Rate into Impact, powering her Physical Stun kit and flexible Attack/Rupture teams.

Dialyn does not handle complaints. She files them directly into an enemy's stagger bar. As the Physical Stun agent of Krampus Compliance Authority in Zenless Zone Zero, she arrives with a clipboard, a smile, and a terrifying willingness to turn customer feedback into a chain attack. The community has already slapped a 9.8/10 score on her, which is the sort of rating that makes other agents check their performance reviews.

Her whole kit is a bureaucracy simulator, and that is a compliment. Dialyn wants CRIT Rate, because her Core Skill converts that stat into Impact. The dream is 100% CRIT Rate for the full buff, but the practical dream is 'as much as humanly possible without selling a kidney.' Her signature W-Engine makes the 100% club much easier to join; lucky Drive Disc rolls can also get her there, assuming the RNG department is in a good mood. For the VI-piece, players can pick Impact for extra Daze or Energy Regen for more EX Special Attack usage. It is a rare build choice where both options make sense, which is either good design or a personal attack on indecisive players.

The Build: Crit Rate, Daze, and Deceptive Politeness

Dialyn's build priority is simple: CRIT Rate first, then enough Impact and Energy to keep the complaint pipeline flowing. She does not need 100% CRIT Rate to function, but the closer she gets, the chunkier her Core Skill buff becomes. The reference build focuses on maximizing CRIT Rate, with the VI-piece fork mentioned above. In table form, because tables make everything look official:

Slot Recommendation Why It Works
Main stat focus CRIT Rate Feeds her Core Skill's Impact buff
VI-piece Impact or Energy Regen More Daze or more EX Special spam
W-Engine Her signature if available Easier path to 100% CRIT Rate
Substats CRIT Rate, then whatever keeps her alive She is a stunner, not a martyr

Skill priority should start with her Core Skill, because that is where the team buff and Impact conversion live. After that, her EX Special Attack deserves attention, since it drives both Positive Reviews and Malicious Complaint. Basic Attack, Chain Attack, Dodge, and Assist can follow in whatever order the player's material stash allows. Maxing every skill is nice; maxing the wrong skill first is how accounts end up in timeout. Her promotion and skill materials are the usual Zenless grind, so pre-farm if the rerun is on the horizon; a customer service rep without materials is just a very polite bystander. Her Mindscape Cinema is optional; the base kit already does the job, and extra copies are for players who want her to become the regional manager of stun.

Teams: Attack, Rupture, and One Very Aggressive Help Desk

Dialyn is flexible enough to slot into Attack and Rupture teams, and her Overwhelmingly Positive effect activates when she teams with Rupture or Attack Agents, increasing all party members' DMG. That is a team-wide buff with a name that sounds like a five-star review, which is exactly the point.

Team Core How It Works Energy
Billy + Nicole + Dialyn Dialyn adds Stun DMG multiplier; Nicole shreds DEF; Billy does Billy things Chaotic but functional
Ye Shunguang + Sunna + Dialyn Dialyn helps Ye Shunguang access her Ultimate; Sunna buffs and Ether Veil helps Enlightened Mind Premium combo
Banyue + Dialyn + flex Dialyn boosts Rupture damage; Banyue's Ultimate puts him in Visage of Wrath Big number enjoyers

The Billy and Nicole setup is a classic 'make the cyborg cowboy hit harder' plan. Dialyn and Nicole stack their respective debuffs, and Billy gets to enjoy a stun window that feels less like a window and more like a garage door opening. The Ye Shunguang team is more premium: Dialyn's kit helps Ye reach her Ultimate, which lets her enter Enlightened Mind, while Sunna contributes buffs and Ether Veil. It is a team that reads like a board meeting and hits like a board meeting where someone flipped the table.

For Rupture enjoyers, Dialyn works particularly well with Banyue because his Ultimate automatically puts him in the Visage of Wrath state. Dialyn increases the damage dealt by Rupture units, so the pairing is less 'synergy' and more 'two departments approving each other's expense reports.'

The Complaint Queue: How Dialyn Actually Plays

Dialyn has two resources: Positive Reviews, the gauge under her HP meter, and Customer Complaint, the circle at the end of that gauge. Positive Reviews come from hitting enemies with EX Special Attacks Rock, Scissors, and Paper. Customer Complaint appears at 90 Positive Reviews or whenever she uses an Ultimate. She can hold up to 120 Positive Reviews, but 90 is the magic number for her Core Skill. She can only hold one Customer Complaint at a time, which is probably for the best; a customer service rep with a backlog of complaints would be unstoppable.

Dialyn's combo flowchart, also known as the complaint escalation ladder

With one Customer Complaint, hold the Basic Attack button to use EX Special Attack: Get Lost. This opens a Chain Attack window regardless of the enemy's stun meter. Then switch to another character to consume the complaint and let that character automatically use their Ultimate without spending Decibels. That is not a typo. Dialyn can file a complaint so hard that someone else gets a free Ultimate. If she has no Customer Complaint, Get Lost consumes 90 Positive Reviews instead to force the Chain Attack window. Either way, the enemy is about to have a very bad performance review.

Dialyn's EX Special Attack: Get Lost in action

Her EX Special Attack cycles through Rock, Scissors, and Paper in that exact order. Paper hits apply Malicious Complaint, which increases the DMG dealt to those targets, extends a stunned enemy's stun duration, and increases their Stun DMG Multiplier. In other words, Paper is not just a winning throw; it is a threat. The efficient combo is to start with EX Special Attack: Rock, follow with two Basic Attack inputs, and repeat until Paper comes out. Once enough Customer Complaint is banked, hold Basic Attack to finish with Get Lost. Do not hoard the complaint like a limited-time coupon. Spend it, switch to the carry, and let the free Ultimate do the talking.

Lore, Availability, and the Art of the Venomous Tongue

Dialyn is the customer service representative of her faction, and from the looks of it, the service is hidden and the recommendations are unorthodox. She reportedly recommends things like a God of War Chat Package, which helps file complaints against TOPS. Banyue remarks that people say she has a tongue dripping in venom, referring to her sharp tongue or cunning way of communicating. That is the politest way anyone has ever described a customer service voice that could strip paint.

Dialyn debuted on the Limited Banner Voice of the Once-Spoken in Version 2.4, running from November 26 to December 17, 2025. Her Exclusive Rescreening in Version 3.1 ran from August 19 to September 8, 2026, which is the rerun window players should note if they missed the first filing deadline. For anyone joining in 2026, she is no longer a mystery; she is a known quantity with a stun bar and a grudge.

Verdict: Promote Her, File the Paperwork Later

Dialyn is a Stun agent who rewards investment in CRIT Rate, asks players to manage a two-resource complaint system, and gives teams a free Ultimate through sheer administrative violence. Her best teams lean on Attack or Rupture cores, her combo is a Rock-Paper-Scissors rotation with a finisher called Get Lost, and her personality is 'HR with a weaponized smile.' The community score sits at 9.8/10, which is the sort of number that makes other agents update their resumes. Build her if you want a stunner who does not just break the enemy's posture; she breaks their spirit, then asks them to rate the experience.
